Pick a title for your crossword and a name for the author in order for people to uniquely identify your crossword from all the other crosswords built by other users.
It's time to start adding clues and words for your crossword. Note that the shorter words you add, the more challenging it will be for the crossword algorithm to place all the words in your crossword. To add a word, type the word in the 'Word' text entry and enter the clue in the 'Clue' text entry.
Once you are satisfied with your word/clue entry, click 'Add Word'. The word will be added to the crossword preview.
Continue adding words/clues that you want included in your crossword. You can add up to 30 clues and answers, but remember that the more clues you add, the more challenging your crossword will be. If you need to edit or delete previously added words/clues, click on the 'Edit' or 'Delete' buttons next to the corresponding word/clue entry below the preview. If the crossword software fails to build the crossword, add additional words or edit/delete any previously added words that are short to increase probability that your crossword is buildable.
Clicking Go! adds your crossword to the CrosswordCreators database and allows anyone to play your crossword in an online, interactive environment.
Play your crossword online, print your crossword to play on paper, or share a link for others to play your crossword. Finally, there is now an ability to embed your new crossword on your own website!
